Job Title: Legal & Compliance Officer

Reports to: Group Chief Legal & Compliance Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Legal & Compliance Officer to manage the company’s legal matters with a primary focus on legal advisory, contract management, and legal risk mitigation, while supporting compliance activities in consumer health / pharma business. This role requires expertise in contracts and corporate housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities: Legal (Primary Focus)

· Provide legal advice and opinions to management on operational and strategic matters

· Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including manufacturing, digital, distribution, marketing, influencer, and licensing agreements

· Interpret and apply EU and Romanian food supplement legislation, in the relevant areas.

· Support corporate governance, board resolutions, and statutory filings

· Manage legal disputes, complaints, recalls, and litigation, coordinating with external counsel

· Conduct legal risk assessments for new products, ingredients, and market entries

· Monitor legislative developments affecting the consumer health / pharma industry

Compliance (Secondary Focus)

· Support implementation of internal compliance policies and procedures

· Provides local compliance support (onboarding, risk assessment, documentation, approvals)

· Maintains compliance registers

· Escalates complex or higher-risk matters to the management

Qualifications & Experience

· Law degree (LLB or equivalent) recognized in Romania

· Eligibility to practice law

· Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in pharma, FMCG, or consumer healthcare

Skills & Competencies

· Excellent legal drafting, contract negotiation, and analytical skills

· Ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives

· High ethical standards and attention to detail

· Fluency in Romanian and English (mandatory)
