Overview:

• Working closely with all departments
• Report all relevant safety related issues to H&S Manager;
• Promote safety-orientated behavior in the work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the working practices are safe and comply with legislation, keep up to date with changes in Health & Safety legislation and standards;
• Obtain and update the followings authorizations and agreements related to environment:
• • Environmental authorization
  • Electronic Electric Equipment producer
  • Batteries importer
• Ensure all employees are aware of their responsibility for Health & Safety at the workplace;
• Lead in-house training with managers, employees, visitors about Health & Safety issues and risks, for environmental aspects and waste management;
• Record H&S incidents and accidents, monitor environmental indicators (KPIs) and report KPIs to managers;
• Keep up to date with new legislation and with relevant changes in environmental legislation and initiatives including international legislation (RoHS, WEEE, etc.) where applicable;
• Recommends protection or work equipment for H&S identified risks and first aid for the company for workers;
• Manage and organize the safe disposal of hazardous substances;
• Issue and communicate the statistics asked by Romanian Institute of statistics regarding costs for environment, waste management, etc. for the company;
• Report the internal EEE (Electrical and Electronic Equipment) sales;
• Issue the impact analysis to identify environmental aspects for the all activities, risks identification and measures;
• Advise on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases;
• Propose / implement improvement actions for H&S and environment;
• Consulting employees to identify H&S issues, works matters;
• Initiate and participate in operational controls in company, carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented;
• Issue specific documents related to H&S, environment and waste management (plans, instructions, reports, etc.);
• Manage the Waste recycle agreements: following terms, availability, etc;
• Issue Packaging reports every month;
• Manage waste accounts in accordance with Government Decision 856 / Waste register-traceability of the waste;
• Update waste list and send to whom it may concern;
• Update hazardous substances list;
• Participate at internal / external audit regarding ISO 14001 and 45001;
• Organize analysis done by authorized laboratories for environmental monitoring.
• Sustainability reports, Carbon footprint reports on products

Requirements:

• University higher education;
• The candidate must have training course for OUG 92 (specialized training in waste management) and a course for H&S inspector;
• The candidate should have training course for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 and certificates for courses, it’s an advantage
• The candidate must have good knowledge about H&S general risks and their prevention as well as environmental risks and regulations;
• Also risk evaluator and health &safety auditor for Internal prevention and protection services, 240 hours, health&safety course;
• The minimum training requirements in the field of occupational health and safety corresponding to the higher level, which must be met cumulatively, are as follows: graduation in the fundamental fields, as engineering sciences, agricultural and forestry sciences, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent, the first cycle of university studies, undergraduate studies, or long-cycle university studies, or graduation with a diploma from short-cycle university studies, course in the field of occupational health and safety, with a minimum content according to that provided in Annex No. 6 letter B, with a duration of at least 80 hours, generally, at least 3 years of experience.
