Teachstream is a non-profit organization providing long-term IT, English, and Mathematics education to children from disadvantaged environments in Bucharest, Cluj, and Iași. For over 10 years, we have delivered sustained educational programs, Cambridge exam preparation, digital skills development, and robotics initiatives such as FIRST LEGO League and LEGO Sumo.
We work with committed volunteers, schools, community centers, and corporate partners to open real pathways for children’s academic and professional growth.

The Fundraising Officer plays a key role in securing sustainable revenue for Teachstream’s educational programs. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented position suited for a mid-level professional capable of managing donor relations, delivering campaigns, and supporting corporate and foundation partnerships.

• Manage a portfolio of individual, corporate, and institutional donors.
• Build and maintain strong, consistent relationships with supporters through structured stewardship.
• Prepare donor updates, impact briefs, renewal packages, and thank-you communications.

• Coordinate annual fundraising initiatives (e.g., year-end appeals, event-driven appeals).
• Develop clear, compelling content in collaboration with the whole team.
• Track campaign performance and optimize messaging and segmentation.

• Identify, research, and qualify new prospective partners aligned with Teachstream’s mission.
• Prepare proposals, grant applications, pitch decks, and impact reports.
• Ensure timely delivery of sponsor benefits, visibility, and reporting requirements.

• Support planning and execution of Teachstream events, including CookieFest, robotics competitions, and partner-hosted activities.
• Manage sponsorship packages, partner engagement, and post-event follow-up.

• Maintain accurate donor records in the CRM and ensure clean data practices.
• Provide monthly reports on revenue progress, pipeline health, retention, and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal financial procedures.

• 2–4+ years in fundraising, business development, partnerships, or related fields.
• Demonstrated track record in managing a revenue pipeline and meeting targets.
• Strong writing skills and experience preparing proposals or donor communications.
• Familiarity with tools and basic fundraising metrics.
• Prior experience in education, youth programs, or NGOs is a strong plus.
