We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team in the role of Senior Buyer. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technical expertise and strategic decision-making in the purchasing process. As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our organization by managing the procurement process for various projects, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods.

 What we need you to do:

• Initiation, negotiation and conclusion of price and delivery conditions.
• Master data maintenance, creation and monitoring of contracts.
• Processing complaints and initiating technical and qualitative optimizations.
• Analyzing assigned material groups on the international procurement market – focus Romania.
• Working closely with Head of Procurement, R&D, production planning as well with Quality department.
• Development and implementation of sustainable cost optimization projects.
• Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders as needed.
• Collaborating with other departments to forecast demand and identify purchasing needs.
• Ensuring all purchases comply with company policies and budget.

Qualification & Experience:

• Proven technical experience in different materials groups.
• Several years of experience in purchasing and/or project work.
• University degree in a technical or business-related field.
• Commercial education or experienced in commercial issues in procurement.
• Very good IT user skills (MS Office and ERP software - INFOR LN an advantage).
• Business fluent in written and spoken English – German is an advantage.
• Proactive, confident and strong negotiating skills, as well as strong problem-solving skills.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting.
• High level of personal responsibility and used to working in a team across national borders.
