Job role
The Local Configuration Manager for the Allianz Germany Area will be part of the ITSM-Team of Allianz Technology Germany and closely collaborate with the Service Catalog & Service Level Management Team within the COO & CPO Function in Allianz Technology SE.
Configuration Management is the process focused on planning, identifying, controlling and verifying the Configuration Items (CIs) within a service and recording their status.
The main goals of the process are to manage and protect the integrity of configuration items through the service lifecycle and ensure the integrity of configurations required to control the services and IT infrastructure by establishing and maintaining an accurate and complete configuration management database (CMDB).
The Configuration Management provides visibility of accurate representations of a service, release, or environment that enables better planning of changes and releases, improved Incidents and problems resolution as well as service levels and warranties to be delivered and better adherence to standards, legal and regulatory obligations thus delivering a very high value to business.
