YOUR TASKS

• Responsible for forecasting and inventory planning to ensure optimal product availability.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to translate business strategies into demand forecast.
• Analyze and interpret data trends to evaluate demand potentials and risks.
• Prepare detailed reports on demand forecasting insights, and present findings to management to support decision-making processes.
• Utilize advanced statistical methods to analyze historical sales trends and research demand drivers.
• Monitor accuracy of forecasts and their assumptions, and make necessary adjustments to models based on changing market conditions.
• Review historical sales trends, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
• Continuously improve forecasting techniques, methods, and approach.
• Interact frequently with peers and customers to understand demand forecast drivers.
• Understand and master the company's demand planning software for effective use.
• Perform root cause analysis and make recommendations based on defined performance metrics.
• Support supply chain related initiatives and take active participation in cross-functional teams.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field required.
• Experience as a Demand Planning Specialist and Sales scheduling.
• Deep understanding of demand forecasting and inventory management practices and procedures.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective collaboration and data reporting.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and strategic problem-solving methods.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
