Join Laurentis Energy Partners as a Project Controls Director and play a pivotal role in overseeing the Unit 1 Refurbishment Project at Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and ensure the successful completion of a major project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project completion within budget, schedule, and quality standards, managing associated risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and issue an integrated project execution plan and schedule.
  • Implement processes for effective project monitoring and control.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize the execution schedule and implement corrective measures.
  • Monitor project progress from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives.
  • Update and revise the project schedule to maintain compliance with the critical path.
  • Develop and monitor project-specific performance indicators and vendor KPIs, initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Support contract preparation and participate in supplier negotiations.
  • Develop and manage an integrated risk management plan, identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Create reporting templates for project and third-party progress reports.
  • Facilitate efficient collaboration and communication between stakeholders by establishing or modifying processes and policies.
  • Monitor the budget, prepare forecasts, and evaluate deviations from scope, cost, and schedule baselines.
  • Develop individual development programs for staff and assess leadership potential.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or Social Sciences with at least four years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in CANDU unit refurbishment projects.
  • Fluency in English with exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to set high standards for team performance.
  • Experience in building strong, successful teams and relationships.
  • Ability to set clear objectives and prioritize tasks effectively.
