Responsibilities:

• Monitors compliance with legal and internal regulations regarding KYC/AML/CFT;
• Monitors the new legislative provisions, communicates them to the concerned departments and monitors their implementation within the bank;
• Monitors the implementation of the related policies and procedures from Head Office;
• Applies a 2nd level control on customers’ account opening files and high-risk transactions;
• Analyzes the bank’s procedures and any other internal norms and instructions from compliance and personal data protection point of view, issues opinions in this regard and proposes measures to reduce the risk of non-compliance;
• Analyzes from a compliance and personal data protection point of view, the newly implemented or significantly modified products;
• Provides advice on regulatoy framework provisions, standards, and internal policies and procedures;
• Prepares the materials and participates in the specific training of the Bank's staff;

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar position for at least 3 years within the banking sector;
• Fluent English;
• Proficiency in the legal framework of the specific regulations;
• High digital skills;
• Good communication skills, analytical thinking in organizing and analyzing complex data, attention to details, ability to synthesize;
• University degree in economics or law
• Professional certifications, would be an advantage;
