As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you interact with all kinds of departments within the Hornbach group. As your role entails the interaction with various colleagues from different countries and backgrounds. You should be interested to work in an international environment. We have various tasks, but one essential objective: we want to bring our finance organization to the next level of process excellence and efficiency.Your assignments<ul><li>Execution of all activities necessary invoice-to-pay-activities, such as entering and verifying invoices, process vendor dunning, complaints and disputes, outgoing payments, period end closing, and vendor account management.</li><li>Participate in transition projects: migrate invoice-to-pay processes from our European subsidiaries to our SSC Iasi</li><li>Service excellence: close collaboration with our vendors, internal clients, and stakeholders</li><li>Support us in harmonizing invoice-to-pay processes across our subsidiaries</li><li>Bring in your ideas for process automation and digitization by critically scrutinizing manual work</li><li>Discover modern technologies such as AI and robot process automation and find out how we can use them in the invoice-to-pay process</li></ul>Do we fit together?<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in the field of business administration, economics or comparable</li><li>Proficient English language skills to be able to collaborate closely with our internal stakeholders</li><li>Intermediate German language skills&nbsp;</li><li>Intermediate level in Excel and Outlook</li><li>Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles</li><li>Openness to work in an international environment with different backgrounds</li><li>High degree of initiative</li><li>Authentic and trustworthy</li><li>Your attitude: high level of integrity and perseverance, taking responsibility, commitment to common goals</li><li>Change Architect: you are open to share expertise and you encourage other team members.
