Specialist Power BI - DateCicor Romania is hiring a Data Specialist with experience in Power BI, capable of developing interactive dashboards, optimizing data models and providing analytical support to business teams. If you have analytical thinking, attention to detail and passion for data, we are waiting for you in our team.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.</li><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.</li><li>Design and maintain data models, schemas, and warehouse architectures to support BI solutions.</li><li>Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and backend scripts to support BI reporting needs.</li><li>Support ETL processes, ensuring proper data integration, transformation, and quality.</li><li>Assist in integrating Power BI with other systems and data sources, including APIs and cloud platforms.</li><li>Ensure optimal performance of reports and dashboards by analyzing and optimizing backend queries, data refreshes, and model structures.</li><li>Document data flows, architecture diagrams, report designs, and backend processes for team reference and auditing.</li><li>Understand and work with relational databases, data lakes, and data warehouses for accurate reporting.</li><li>Implement data architecture best practices, including dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and fact/dimension tables.</li><li>Implement data governance, security, and compliance measures.</li></ul>Required Skills & Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience: 5+ years in a similar position</li><li>Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar BI role.</li><li>Understanding data visualization best practices and performance optimization in Power BI.</li><li>Experience with data architecture design: dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, fact/dimension tables.</li><li>Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and API integrations.</li><li>Experience with data transformation tools (e.g., Power Query, SSIS, Azure Data Factory).</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) for BI and data architecture solutions.</li><li>Knowledge of Python, R, or other scripting languages for analytics and automation.</li><li>Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Excellent command in English (written and verbal)</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects.</li><li>Attention to detail and high data accuracy.</li></ul>&nbsp;Nice to have Skills & Qualifications<ul><li>Strong knowledge of backend systems and database architecture, including relational and cloud-based databases.</li><li>Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and data modeling concepts.</li><li>Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.</li><li>Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).</li><li>Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality monitoring.</li><li>Strong understanding of end-to-end data flows: from source systems to BI consumption.</li><li>Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance BI solutions.</li><li>Passion for learning new technologies and BI best practices.</li></ul>
