The Integrated Strategic Communications Manager reports to the Head of Communications for North & Eastern Europe and will be part of the Romania & Bulgaria Comms work team working closely with the East Europe Comms colleagues as business needs require.

The position will support the development of clear, compelling, creative content that informs, inspires, and mobilizes key stakeholders to achieve the company’s strategic goals.

Scope:

Focus on Romania & Bulgaria with work to be done on key business priorities beyond country borders as well as global initiatives following DSO approach of flexible resource allocation and a skill-based talent pool

// Bachelor’ s Degree in Communications, Journalism or Business Administration and 3 - 5 years’ experience implementing successful strategic communications programs and operations, preferably within the health care and/or agriculture industries.

// Fluency in Romanian and/or other language (s) in Eastern Europe preferred, fluency in English a must

// Strong understanding of major digital platforms (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn), with experience in digital content management preferred.

// Capability to analyze content performance metrics and audience engagement to inform strategy adjustments and optimize content effectiveness

// Ability to translate communications outcomes into prioritized AI use cases

// Understanding and/or passion to learn generative/agentic AI architectures and how they can be leveraged to enhance communications outcomes and efficiencies.

// Strategic mindset, with demonstrated success in developing, managing and delivering innovative, best-in-class communication strategies and programs in a large, complex global organization.

// Experience supporting senior executives to develop and implement strategic communications programs.

// Solid business insight and experienced at translating business goals into proactive communications strategies to drive results.

// Ability to produce clear, compelling, creative, motivating content and effectively and succinctly communicate complex concepts in a variety of formats.

// Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency; thrives in a fast-paced environment

// Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships across a variety of constituencies, strong customer service and collaboration orientation.

// Support key business critical initiatives and priorities across all three businesses in Romania & Bulgaria by developing & executing fit-for-purpose Comms activities with a sense of end-to-end ownership.

// Lead social media channel content creation, maintenance and optimization, conducting regular channel and technology stack audits to ensure all channels are kept up to date, secure and in line with global and local requirements.

// Set KPIs for channel and content metrics to develop a high-performing digital communications environment, regularly reporting and sharing insights both from owned channels but also implementing best practices for the new communications stakeholder: Large Language Models.

// Be a core member in cluster newsroom team to actively create content for the entire cluster to support state-of-the art and engaging content for key markets beyond Romania & Bulgaria

// Assist in leading and scaling the adoption of Artificial Intelligence best practices across the regional and Global communications organization, such as integrating AI assistants, deeper audience and environment understanding and higher-quality and more creative communications to amplify reach.

// Support developing and executing effective proactive and reactive media relations incl. issues; public relations

// Lead and drive internal communication to achieve a sustained positive reputation and image of business in the cluster with a focus on Romania & Bulgaria.

// Create with customers: Create interesting and engaging ways to motivate and inspire customers, patients, consumers and farmers as part of unlocking business growth potential as well as identify cross-operational efficiencies to achieve objectives.

// Support work team in key message development and storytelling on core topics.
