POSITION SUMMARY (Maternity Replacement Position):

The Store Manager-MAC Cosmetics is responsible for driving retail sales while delivering 5 Star Customer Service. This involves managing and developing the talent and capabilities of their team to achieve optimal performance. The Store Manager is also required to deliver retail operational excellence to provide an efficient and effective work environment. The Store Manager is required to spend the majority of their time on the floor, coaching and leading.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the daily operations of the stores, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively.
• Drive transactions and sales of the entire team to achieve the store sales targets and KPIs.
• Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customers satisfaction.
• Motivating the sales team to meet sales & KPIs objectives by training and mentoring staff.
• Monitor, train and coach individual performance of each team member,  to improve & optimize performance.
• Understand the business trends and competitive dynamics to propose action plans to generate incremental sales.
• Create daily/ weekly action plans to drive sales, motivate the team and incentivize customers to visit the store.
• Monitor Inventory levels, ensure optimal stock level at all times, do product orders according to store needs in order to increase productivity.
• Develop and merchandise in store displays and promotional material.
• Ensuring store compliance with health and safety regulations and legal requirements.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 3 years experience working in retail.
• Experience in leading and supervising people required.
• Strong leadership and customer management abilities.
• Previous experience in cosmetic field preferred.
• Specialty store management background an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, leadership, organizational and time management skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role required.
• Ability to analyze and interpret figures and comment in writing.
• Professional demeanor and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive manner.
