Blue Projects is looking for a skilled Sanitary and firefighting Design Engineer, with solid Sanitary and firefighting background, and experienced in using 3D programs such as Revit and AutoCAD.

Eagerness to learn and expand its knowledge is also a key point.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in building services or a related field

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in sanitary and firefighting design

• Strong knowledge of sanitary and firefighting design principles, practices, and regulations

• Good knowledge of European standards, FM Global Standards and NFPA Standards

• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Revit is mandatory

• Familiarity with industry-specific standards and guidelines

• Understanding of material selection, fabrication techniques, and sanitary equipment design.

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess design feasibility and address technical challenges

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compliant designs

• Background in designing sanitary and firefighting systems for industrial and logistics buildings is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing sanitary and firefighting systems for various industries, such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals

• Creating detailed design plans, layouts, and specifications for sanitary and firefighting systems, considering factors such as hygiene, safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

• Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments for new sanitary design projects.

• Selecting and specifying appropriate materials, components, and equipment for sanitary systems

• Preparing written parts for Concept, DTAC, PTh stages of the project

• Performing calculations for the hot and cold water network, exterior and interior drainage system ,storm water system ,interior and exterior hydrant system, hydraulic calculation of the sprinkler system

• Preparing the bill of quantities

• Coordination between MEP, structural and architectural disciplines.

• Conduction site visits when necessary

• Participating in design reviews, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Create, verify and validate all Material Approval Forms Answer any questions or solve any problems that come up during conception, design and installation that are related to his design

• Coordinate with the rest of the design team (Architectural, Structural and Mechanical)
