Warranty/Complaint Manager for our Swoboda Service Center at the Cisnadie location.
Job description:
FMEA Moderator (FMEA):
FMEA Moderation & Methodology
- Plan, organize, and moderate D-FMEA and P-FMEA sessions for development and industrialization phases
- Apply standardized methodology (AIAG/VDA) and ensure formal correctness of all FMEA documents
- Guarantee consistency between Design and Process FMEAs and alignment with project milestones
- Document results in APIS IQ-FMEA and maintain data integrity in CARM/CDM servers
- Ensure DRBFM application for changes of products
Preparation & Coordination
- Define scope, team composition, and required inputs for each FMEA session
- Coordinate with core team members (development, process planning, quality, project management) and involve specialists as needed
- Ensure timely availability of design data, process flows, and risk assessments
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to AIAG/VDA guidelines and internal standards
- Conduct internal FMEA audits and support external audits (customer or certification)
- Maintain confidentiality of FMEA content; manage controlled sharing during reviews and audits
Continuous Improvement
- Integrate product lessons learned and 8D feedback into FMEA standard modules
- Support reverse FMEA reviews and contribute to global standardization initiatives
- Provide input for methodology updates and participate in global FMEA strategy meetings
Training & Support
- Assist in training local team members on FMEA methodology and tools
- Act as a coach for new FMEA team members and support global rollout of FMEA standards
Warranty/Complaint Manager:
Complaint Analysis & Coordination
- Continuous exchange with the global warranty function regarding current field complaints
- Label complaint components with the corresponding field complaint number
- Transfer complaint components to Validation & Testing
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements within the complaint analysis process
- Act as a competent partner for inquiries regarding individual complaint analysis status
Analysis & Reporting
- Classify analysis results
- Review and approve analysis reports
- Define appropriate corrective actions for accepted field complaints
- Ensure implementation of actions in the production process
- Support the global warranty function in finalizing 8D reports
- Archive or return complaint components
Communication & Documentation
- Report to the local Head of Quality Management
- Prepare reports and presentations for management and other stakeholders
Ideal candidate:
- Strong knowledge of AIAG/VDA FMEA standards and risk analysis techniques
- Proficiency in APIS IQ-FMEA software and related systems (CARM/CDM)
- Expertise in applying common Quality Management methods (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, PDCA)
- Analytical mindset and ability to manage complex technical discussions
- High level of organizational and documentation accuracy
- Good documentation skills and structured work approach
- Competent use of Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and reporting systems
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills for cross-functional teams
- Strong personal and social skills
- Teamwork abilities and strong international communication skills
- Good English language skills
