What we're looking for

We are seeking a highly skilled colleague with proven expertise in financial modelling, cost analysis, and techno-economic assessments within the telecommunications or related industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and reporting skills, experience with BI tools and advanced Excel, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to support strategic planning, cost optimization, and investment decisions.

What you’ll be doing

• Collaborate with ORO teams (TD, FIN, Strategy, Consumer, B2B, etc) to develop Strategic Plan Capex/Opex/KPI forecast including Energy & Rent yearly budgets
• Support the evaluation of new business opportunities, capital expenditures, and investment proposals through detailed financial modelling (e.g. Business Cases for projects, new partnerships, outsourcing, etc)
• Propose clear guidelines to evaluate projects efficiency in terms of cost, time and value before and after T4 gate
• Build and manage actual unitary cost models (Capex & OPEX per site/HH, per service, per technology). Periodic reports on ORO TD unitary costs evolution and distribution
• Realize techno-economic analysis (comparative studies of network technical solutions, compared analysis of network evolutions and trajectories, cost calculations of network elements or network products, etc.) corresponding to the main strategic issues concerning Orange Romania
• Collaborate with Commercial departments for better offers, Customer satisfaction and profit maximization
• Active involvement in Benchmark performance exercise against industry standards or internal KPIs to ensure competitive positioning
• Maintain & develop further the BI apps (incl. new apps) in our department according to technology evolution and new needs

• Graduate degree in telecommunications or economics 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications/ finance controlling
• Project management experience
• Business analysis & modelling, forecasting skills
• Reporting techniques & presentation skills (i.e. dashboard, reports, trends, graphs, etc.)
• Strong skills in Excel, VBA, PowerPoint
• Experience with BI tools (QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI)
• RPA & Data & AI experience is a plus
• English - fluent level
