BenBau is an international construction company with Irish roots that specializes in concrete works and data center construction works in Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. We are currently searching for an experienced Project Manager with relevant experience in civil and structural works to join our team in Denmark. Our team is diverse and multinational, with workers from Romania, Germany, Poland, Sweden, and many other countries.

Job Title: Construction Project Manager/Engineer

Location: Denmark (relocation) - startoff in Sweden (1-3 months)

In this role, you will be responsible for managing civil engineering projects and ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time and within budget.

You must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with a deep knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices. You must also be a strong communicator, able to work closely with other departments.

As the Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the overall planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects from initiation to completion
• Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure on-time and cost-effective execution
• Reviewing contracts, drawings, and specifications to define project scope and deliverables
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams — site management, engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE — to achieve project goals
• Overseeing site operations and ensuring all activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Managing procurement, subcontractor agreements, and variation/change requests
• Monitoring progress, cost performance, and risks, implementing corrective actions when needed
• Leading regular meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to report progress and resolve issues
• Preparing detailed progress and financial reports for management and clients
• Ensuring accurate documentation, project records, and compliance with contractual obligations
• Supporting project handover, final inspections, and closeout documentation
• Mentoring and developing team members, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• A degree in civil engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years of site management experience in the construction industry
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Office would be a plus
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Additional language skills would be an advantage (Finnish, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, etc.)
