Join PIP Global Safety, a leader in personal protective equipment, and be part of a team dedicated to safeguarding people worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Bucharest, Romania Controllership Finance Organization. This role is crucial in managing general accounting, policy implementation, and month-end processes for our EMEA HSP Shared Service organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily, monthly, and year-end operations of the Accounting/Finance Department - Shared Services group.
• Review regional journal entries and postings.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reporting packages.
• Prepare and post journal entries from source documents.
• Create Controllership review templates for balance sheets.
• Research and interpret data to answer accounting and financial questions.
• Support internal and external audits with necessary documentation.
• Complete other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in a mid to large company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Eclipse or similar ERP is a plus.
• Experience with consolidation and reconciliation software like Planful or FloQast preferred.
• Dependable, organized, and professional with a commitment to confidentiality.
