What we’re looking for

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Standards Expert to join our Financial Reporting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applying International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Romanian Accounting Standards. The successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, supporting financial reporting processes, and providing expert guidance on accounting policies and standards.

What you’ll be doing

• Prepare, review, and ensure compliance with IFRS and Romanian Accounting Standards in financial statements and reports.
• Prepare the yearly Statutory financial statements and notes, for the company and the consolidated perimeter.
• Provide advice on accounting issues and standards interpretation.
• Support the implementation of new accounting standards and updates.
• Coordinate the monthly reporting process in order to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures aligned with IFRS and local standards.
• Assist in internal and external audits related to accounting standards compliance.
• Support management in management accounting activities and financial analysis.

What you need to know/have

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. ACCA) is a plus.
• Strong proven experience in applying IFRS and Romanian Accounting Standards.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret accounting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
