Join our mission to safeguard the rights and well-being of those forced to flee. As a Legal Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring access to asylum and protection for displaced individuals in Romania. Collaborate with a dedicated team to provide timely and effective legal support.

• Monitor and analyze national legislation and policies related to asylum-seekers and stateless persons.
• Conduct legal research and develop position papers and legal documents.
• Liaise with state authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to support protection strategies.
• Draft communications and intervene on legal issues affecting displaced individuals.
• Participate in events and trainings, presenting legal provisions in understandable terms.
• Assist in handling individual cases and ensure timely follow-up.
• Support monthly meetings and follow up on agreements at the Protection Working Group.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related field, fluency in English and Romanian, and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
