Join HIO CORPORATION, a leader in delivery and logistics innovation in Romania, as we expand our Research, Development & Innovation (R&D) efforts. We are seeking a Technical Director to spearhead our AI-driven logistics interoperability platform. This on-site role in Iași requires a dynamic leader to guide our technical vision and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and manage the technical architecture of our software platform.
• Lead and coordinate a dedicated on-site technical team in R&D activities.
• Supervise development work, ensuring high code quality and architectural consistency.
• Transform research concepts into scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Oversee AI/ML component integration and validation.
• Coordinate prototype testing and pre-commercial demonstrations.
• Collaborate with the project team to plan and track technical milestones.
• Ensure timely delivery of technical activities aligned with project goals.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years in technical leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in software architecture and system design.
• Proficiency in reviewing and validating source code.
• Experience with modern software platforms and data-driven systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Comfortable in an on-site, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI/ML systems.
• Background in R&D or innovation projects.
• Project management experience or certifications.
• Familiarity with logistics or delivery platforms.

Technologies: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Security best practices.
