VARTA Microbattery is looking for a dedicated and experienced Plant Controller to join our team in Brașov. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the company's financial performance is well-tracked and aligned with our goals. Your insights will drive business decisions that impact production efficiency and profitability. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and initiate steering activities for production input factors, affecting the P&L, through timely reporting and tracking KPIs related to Direct Labor, Material, and Overhead costs (daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc).

• Monitor the routings together with the technical department and implement the changes in SAP;

• Monitor and report on key Balance Sheet indicators such as Inventories, Accounts Receivables, and Accounts Payables.

• Analyze P&L data on a cost center level to ensure product assortment margins are transparent and suggest corrective actions when necessary.

• Track budget adherence for operations, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.

• Evaluate and recommend actions for continuous improvement initiatives based on profitability calculations.

• Review purchase requisitions and manage cost center planning for the yearly budget process.

• Support inter company transfer pricing for all outbound sales.

• Oversee state aid projects and assist in internal audit activities.

• Collaborate closely with the Management team for regular reviews and strategic decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Economics or Business Administration field.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.

• Manufacturing background with a high-level understanding of technical processes.

• Experience in SAP R3, S4 HANA across all relevant modules.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

• Familiarity with Power BI / Qlik is desirable.

• Experience in IBM Cognos is a plus.

• Proficiency in English (advanced level).
