Job Title: Senior Accountant

We are seeking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge and excellent analytical skills.

A Senior Accountant will handle the organization's financial reporting, ensure accurate financial records, and maintain compliance with regulations. He/she will be responsible for preparing financial statements and supporting financial audits. This position requires strong attention to details and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide insights and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve financial efficiency.
• Performing accurate month-end journal entries, fiscal year-end close activities and assisting with activities and requirements of external auditors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Fluency in both English and Romanian.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team.
