Description

We are looking for you, an IT Solution Manager (m/f/diverse), to join our Information Technology team in the area of Business Applications for Purchasing. Hybrid Work is possible.

The main objective of this position is the responsible for the operation of applications in the area of Purchasing.

Core Responsibilities:

• You work as an IT partner and IT provider with your customers in Purchasing.
• You ensure close cooperation with divisions/regional hubs as well as with internal and external partners;
• You are responsible for handling tickets, incidents, and changes;
• You steer, plan, and implement requested changes and extensions together with the business application manager/business key users;
• You control the budget for services and create order requisitions;
• You provide support for the continuous optimization of individual applications, their strategies, and architecture;
• You are actively involved in global IT and business projects;
• You assist in the development of global standards, strategies, and concepts and their implementation in the area of Purchasing.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

•  Academic Degree in computer science, business administration, business informatics, or a comparable qualification;
•  Experience in Purchasing and/or Finance and/or Integrity & Law processes appreciated.
• Excellent communication skills;
• Business fluent English skills (spoken and written);
• Team player with a willingness to work in a global team environment;
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to find workable solutions for all parties involved.
• Independent, structured, results-oriented, and customer-oriented working style

Preferred Qualifications:

• Several years of professional experience in IT service management or a project environment;
• Knowledge or experience in service management, e.g., as a service or application owner;
• Knowledge of business analytics tools, cloud services, server management, SAP BW, and Mendix;
•  Experience in managing external service providers.
