📍 Location: Vulcana, Dâmbovița County, (near Târgoviște)

At Safety Approach, we’re looking for a proactive and dedicated On-site Health & Safety Officer to strengthen our growing team in Vulcana, Dâmbovița County. This is a hands-on, on-site role, where you will work closely with experienced colleagues and site teams. You will support compliance with Health & Safety legislation, contribute to improving safety practices, and gradually build confidence and expertise in real construction environments.

• Role Purpose: We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Health & Safety Officer to join our team at Safety Approach on a project based in Vulcana, Dâmbovița County. 🗓Day-to-day, here’s what your new role would look like

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in helping our clients comply with safety legislation and foster a strong safety culture. You’ll be hands-on, collaborative, and actively involved in supporting safety improvements across multiple projects.

You will:

• Perform daily on-site inspections, supporting risk assessments and helping identify appropriate control measures, with guidance when needed.
• Support site audits and incident investigations.
• Assist in the development and updating of Health & Safety plans and procedures.
• Support the delivery of Health & Safety and Fire Safety training programs.
• Support compliance with local and national Health & Safety regulations.
• Participate in the maintenance of ISO management systems.
• Monitor the effectiveness of H&S policies and recommend improvements.
• Travel across construction sites in Vulcana-Panadele, Vulcana Băi, and Brănești, near Târgoviște.
• Participate in meetings with clients and project stakeholders.
• Actively promote environmental and sustainable practices in safety processes.

🎯What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who brings a solid technical foundation and a strong personal commitment to learning and improving in the field of health and safety.

The ideal candidate has:

• A bachelor’s degree in technical domains (Engineering, Agricultural, or Forestry Sciences).
• Completed the 80h or 120h Occupational Health & Safety training course.
• Completed the 136h Technical Staff with fire safety and firefighting responsibilities certification (equivalent to Fire Marshal / Fire Warden).
• Up to 1–2 years of experience in a safety-related role or relevant internships / practical experience.
• A driving license (Category B) and willingness to travel as required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and standard reporting tools.
