YOUR TASKS

About the Role

We are seeking a Global Sustainability Manager to join our Purchasing organization and lead sustainability initiatives across our global supply base.
This role is responsible for defining, implementing, and monitoring sustainability standards and compliance across all procurement activities worldwide.
You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with international regulations, driving CO₂ footprint reduction, promoting responsible sourcing,
and strengthening our sustainability performance and external ratings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate global sustainability initiatives within the Purchasing function;
• Ensure compliance with EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) and other relevant global sustainability regulations (PFAS,PFOA);
• Oversee and implement human rights due diligence across the supply chain (e.g. modern slavery, labor standards, ethical sourcing);
• Measure, monitor, and drive CO₂ footprint reduction in cooperation with suppliers and internal stakeholders;
• Manage and continuously improve the suppliers’ EcoVadis performance, including assessments, corrective actions, and supplier engagement
• Develop and implement sustainable sourcing strategies, policies, and supplier codes of conduct in close cooperation with lead-buyer/global strategic purchaser;
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve transparency, traceability, and sustainability performance;
• Act as a key interface between Purchasing, Sustainability, Legal, Compliance, and external stakeholders in regards of sustainability topics;
• Prepare sustainability reports, KPIs, and management updates at global level;
• Support audits, certifications, and customer sustainability requirements.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree;
• Experience in sustainability , procurement, or supply chain management, ideally in a global or multinational environment;
• Strong knowledge of EUDR, human rights regulations, CO₂ accounting, and sustainability frameworks;
• Hands-on experience with EcoVadis and supplier sustainability assessments;
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate sustainability goals into practical actions;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus);
• Willingness to work in an international, cross-functional environment.
