We are seeking a highly motivated FDM (Flight Data Monitoring) Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing flight safety by analyzing aircraft flight data, identifying operational risks, and supporting continuous safety improvements across the fleet.

This position is ideal for professionals with a strong analytical mindset, a passion for aviation safety, and experience working with large datasets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance of FDM Programme, to meet and exceed regulatory requirements
  • Monitor the FDM system and software, ensuring the security and confidentiality all FDM data
  • Validate and analyse FDM events and perform statistical data integrity checks.
  • Monitor all operational FDM events to ensure they are analysed and investigated in accordance with internal procedure and process
  • Coordinate with FDM AOC Safety Department to ensure necessary crew contacts are made in accordance with agreed timescales and conducting crew contacts when required
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents and hazardous occurrences.
  • Leading and coordinating preparation for the data FDM Group Meetings
  • Researching and undertaking statistical analysis of data to identify operational hazards, potentially hazardous conditions and adverse trends that need to be reported to the AOCs Safety Departments
  • Work with fellow team members to ensure the coordination of the occurrence reporting system for FDM related events
  • Support the organisation’s drive to improve sustainability by working with Flight Operations on the development and ongoing reporting of fuel optimisation related events
  • Monitor and report on FDM related Safety Performance Indicators
  • Maintain documentation, manuals and records related to FDM
  • Provide advice and support to other internal departments to help them fulfil their safety responsibilities
  • Contribute to safety publications and promotional material
  • Represent the company on FDM and safety matters at external meetings & conferences
  • Promote the safety management system throughout the company
  • Develop and continuously improving the FDM System
  • Any other tasks as directed by Line Management
  • Work in shifts (including weekends and nights) from our headquarters in Dumbravita, Timis


Requirements:

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and judgement skills – Ability to think quickly, analyze situations, and make sound decisions under time pressure, in line with the dynamic nature of private aviation
  • Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and clients in an international environment
  • Analytical mindset – Ability to think logically, pay close attention to detail, and remain proactive and solution‑oriented
  • Adaptability & resilience – Capacity to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure operational environment, including peak activity periods, and to adapt quickly to changing priorities during a typical 12‑hour shift

Hard Skills

  • Advanced / Native English proficiency (mandatory) – English is the official working language for all communication. Please DO NOT apply without excellent command of English.
  • Computer proficiency – MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience:
  • Aeronautical or Aviation related engineer degree or;
  • APTL/CPL/PPL-IR Pilot license or;
  • Flight Dispatcher License or;
  • Flight Operations experience.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple analyses and tasks simultaneously


Preferred / Advantageous:

  • Familiarity with FDM software platforms (e.g., ACRON Aviation, Teledyne, Safran, Airbus SKYwise, or equivalent)
  • Experience with EASA regulations and aviation safety reporting frameworks
  • Previous experience in an airline or aircraft operator environment


Work Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Flight Data Monitoring, Aviation Safety, Flight Operations, or a related operational aviation role involving data analysis and safety reporting

Academic Qualifications

  • Minimum high‑school diploma with relevant work experience (see above);
  • Candidates with limited or no professional experience are expected to hold a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or Aviation‑related fields

Range salary: 6500-7500 RON

The amount can be adjusted based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
