Technical Manager (Process Engineering)
What an Technical Manager does:
Coordinates and manages processes within the process engineering department
Coordinates the activity of the Engineers from Special Processes regarding the construction, reception and commissioning of the equipment together with the Customer Center / pilot plant, in order to improve quality and increase efficiency
Establishes concepts for special processes in company (equipment requirements, structure, type)
Ensures the existence of an optimal need for spare parts for the equipment for which he is responsible
Coordinates the preventive and predictive maintenance plan for production equipment
Coordinates the modification and update of the plant production layout
Analyzes production processes and implements solutions to increase efficiency (OEE, Takt time, waste reduction).
Manages technological documentation: work instructions, technological flows, FMEA, control plans, line layouts.
Coordinates the implementation of new products in manufacturing by commissioning and adjusting the working parameters of the equipment according to the operating documentation
Coordinates the processing of technical changes and implements them in production on the part of special processes
Establishes concepts for special processes (equipment requirements, structure, type)
Coordinates the programming, maintenance and improvement of electrical test equipment (EPT)
Ensures implementation and compliance with process standards (IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015)
Monitors process performance indicators (scrap, rework, downtime).
Analyzes implements and follows up on corrective actions following KPI deviations (equipment uptime, process implementation deadlines, etc.)
Participates in the development of the technical budget (equipment, investments, consumables)
The next Technical Manager needs:
University degree: Technical higher education (preferably: Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Wiring Harness Technology, Automation, etc.)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the industry, of which at least 2 years in a coordination position in the field of automotive wiring.
Technical knowledge:
Advanced knowledge of industrial processes and Lean Manufacturing.
Solid knowledge of crimping, cutting, marking, assembly and electrical testing processes.
Experience with PFMEA, control plan, work instructions, time study.
Software knowledge: MS Office, AutoCAD, SAP (or ERP equivalent), process analysis applications.
English – advanced level (written and spoken).
