Join our dynamic team as an Accounting & Financial Controller and play a pivotal role in our financial operations. Collaborate closely with our Accounting, Finance, and Controlling departments in Italy and Romania to ensure seamless financial processes.

• Provide support for accounts receivable and payable activities, including daily cash receipts processing and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Manage routine book entries and perform complex adjusting journal entries to maintain data integrity.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, and prepare financial reports and statutory financial statements.
• Prepare and coordinate periodic financial and management reporting, managing budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Analyze variances against budget and forecast, and update reports for energy sector operations.
• Develop Business Plan models to evaluate financial feasibility of new initiatives and M&A transactions.
• Oversee management control systems, ensuring consistency between accounting data and management reporting.
• Contribute to the improvement and digitalization of administrative and financial processes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Familiarity with Romanian accounting and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA knowledge is a plus.
• Good command of English; Italian is an advantage.
