We're Hiring: Welding Engineer

Location: Curcani, Călărași | Company: Stentor Industries SRL

Key Responsibilities:Technical (Hard Skills):

• Oversee and manage all welding processes (MIG/MAG, TIG, etc.);
• Inspect welding preparations, base materials, filler materials, and final welds for compliance with standards;
• Monitor and analyze welding productivity, efficiency, and material use;
• Review and interpret welding drawings, procedures (WPS/PQR), and technical specifications;
• Coordinate NDT procedures and ensure compliance with EN ISO standards;
• Prepare and maintain welding-related documentation and quality reports;
• Support quality audits and take corrective/preventive actions as needed;
• Evaluate welder performance and provide technical guidance or retraining when required;
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies in the welding area.

Interpersonal (Soft Skills):

• Represent welding expertise in project teams and technical meetings;
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues;
• Train and mentor welders and junior technicians;
• Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and external partners;
• Provide improvement proposals to management focused on people, processes, and performance;
• Foster a culture of responsibility, precision, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with industrial welding techniques and standards;
• Knowledge of EN ISO and NDT methods (UT, VT, MT, PT);
• Familiarity with WPS, PQR, WPQ documentation and certifications;
• Hands-on experience in welding inspections, defect analysis, and process optimization;
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities;
• Excellent organizational and communication skills;
• Proficiency in technical English (reading/writing).
