You support our team as Manager Operational Procurement

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Operational Procurement team (incl. order processing, delivery tracking, master data, etc.) with the goal to further professionalize and standardize operational procurement processes across the ACEMEA region.
• Ensure the reliable, efficient, and timely delivery of procurement services to internal customers (Production, Supply Chain, Export Control) while maintaining compliance with corporate standards and guidelines.
• Drive global process optimization, harmonization, and digitalization initiatives within operational procurement, expanding best practices from Germany to other ACEMEA locations; actively contribute to training, coaching, and knowledge sharing across the region.
• Ensure implementation and monitoring of internal controls and compliance requirements in alignment with corporate governance.
• Take ownership for KPI management and reporting; lead regular performance reviews and ensure continuous improvement in collaboration with VP Procurement, Procurement Directors, and Commodity Management.
• Develop the team’s capabilities through Talent Management, career path planning, and competency building; promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and service orientation.
• Manage audits, key projects, and initiatives impacting procurement operations across the region.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in operational procurement in an international industrial environment.
• Proven leadership skills, ideally with experience in managing teams across regions / cultures.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, ERP systems (SAP is a plus), and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI).
• Understanding of compliance frameworks, internal controls, and quality standards.
• Analytical, structured, and pragmatic working style with strong solution orientation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language is a plus.
