General Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy systems, or related fields;
• MSc in sustainable energy technologies and/or project management is considered an asset;
• Experience in using design software such as AutoCAD and solid knowledge of PV Design software;
• Competence in designing and modeling electrical connections for photovoltaic parks, including grid connection and substations;
• Ability to read and evaluate an ATR (Technical Connection Approval) and Solution study, plus the ability to evaluate connection analysis cost;
• In-depth knowledge of Romanian energy legislation and environmental regulations, solar permitting, and other PV system regulatory codes;
• Extensive knowledge of renewable energy, instrumentation control systems and solar power generation system and procedures;
• Management: planning, task monitoring, risk identification, reporting.
• Driver’s license and availability to travel.

Technical skills

• Knowledge of power engineering;
• Advanced user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
• Proficiency in PV Syst, AutoCAD, and MS Project;
• Solid understanding of legislation on construction work authorizations;
• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.

Job Description

• Develop relationships and build trusted partnerships with local authorities and administrations (ANRE, Municipalities, Forest Agencies, Communities of Municipalities, and other related authorities) as well as landowners.
• Responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses while maintaining communication with local authorities.
• Collaborate with the Technical Team to prepare and submit required documentation to local authorities for approvals, including ATR, building permits, and other pre-approvals or authorizations.
• Supervise and maintain contact with external partners to ensure the progress of projects.
• Participate in the development and implementation of energy efficiency strategies;
• Monitor and ensure the optimal functioning of the electrical infrastructure.
• Accurately forecast project timelines and requirements.
• Report to the line manager on project progress and any required adjustments or modifications during development.
• Generate and issue regular internal and external activity reports.
