BenBau is an international construction company with Irish roots that specializes in concrete works and data center construction works in Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. We are currently searching for an experienced Site Manager with relevant experience in civil and structural works to join our team in Sweden/Denmark/Germany/Finland. Our team is diverse and multinational, with workers from Romania, Germany, Poland, Sweden, and many other countries.

Job Title: Site Manager/Engineer

Location: Sweden/Denmark/Germany/Finland (Relocate)

In this role, you will be responsible for managing civil engineering projects and ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time and within budget.

You must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with a deep knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices. You must also be a strong communicator, able to work closely with other departments.

As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing daily on-site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to maintain smooth workflow
• Preparing and monitoring schedules, forecasts, and material/resource plans
• Ensuring all work complies with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings to promote a strong HSE culture
• Reviewing and authorizing technical drawings, plans, and any changes during execution
• Managing procurement, cost control, and resource allocation efficiently
• Maintaining accurate project documentation, permits, and progress records
• Preparing progress reports and communicating updates to management, clients, and stakeholders
• Supporting project handovers, ensuring completion of punch lists and defect resolution

Requirements:

• A degree in civil engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 3-5 years of site management experience in the construction industry
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and Office would be a plus
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Additional language skills would be an advantage (Finnish, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, etc.)
