Is responsible for coordination and safeguarding low cost, efficient, timely and legallyｭ compliant transport handling, including collaboration with service provider and forwarder.
Assures an efficient, in time and safe, management of transports (customer, supplier and internal / intercompany business).
Respects the tender contract and quotations.
Ensures stable transport processes due to country specific process requirements with the nominated service providers.
Maintaining and checking shipping notice and transit times with carriers.
Notifies deliveries from suppliers and towards customers at carrier in case of short term changes.
Escalates and coordinates the emergency shipments, hand carries or organizing of charter flights.
Processing transport damages / complaints (. investigation of fault, liabilities and settlement of claims).
Analyzing in the first escalation phase topics on non performance of service providers ( . delivery accuracy).
Monitors results, keeping records and distributing to business partners involved (freight forwarders, operating departments, suppliers, customer, customs authorities).
Responds to enquiries of responsible (. operating departments).
Claims for results, monitors and reports regularly to operating departments.
Creates PO for each transport and send them to each transport company for getting the invoices.
After receiving the invoices each price is checked manually to match the tender and invoices sent further to Finance.
At least 1 year experience in a similar position.
Knowledge of an MPR system.
Good knowledge of English.
Good knowledge of Ms. Office.
Organized, results orientated, positive thinking and proactive.
Very good communication and negotiation skills.
