For our client, a prestigious German group offering financial products and services tcustomers around the world, we are currently looking for a dynamic and quick learner Junior Support Engineer.


Your responsibilities:

  • Resolve product or service issues by: clarifying the customer's request, diagnosing the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the request, following up to ensure resolution;
  • Provides technical support and guidance, problem solving and troubleshooting (2nd level support) via ticketing for customers located in Germany and Asia region
  • Integration support with regard to product platform
  • Configuration of various set-ups in systems
  • Support for the automation of set-up processes (using scripting, like Perl, VBA etc.)
  • Control and monitoring of customer communication and escalation messages

How we would like you to be:

  • Familiar with at least some of the following areas: UNIX; Linux knowledge; SQL
  • Basic knowledge of XML (nice to have)
  • Good English communication skills (written and verbal) is mandatory
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Available to work in shifts
