Job purpose

Stefanini’s Solution Engineers provide pre-sales support to the Sales force with the aim to close new deals and expand existing contracts based on proper solutions and pricing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the analysis of requests for information (RFI) and/or proposal (RFP)
  • Collect data internally and externally
  • Prepare bids and pricings with respect of deadlines
  • Maintain the pricing model and the solutions knowledge base
  • Suggest improvements to bidding process, knowledge base and pricing model
  • Provide technical assistance to Sales prior to, and during, the bidding process
  • Benchmark solutions practice internally and externally
  • Participate in prospect/client meetings as solutions advisor
  • Managing the output of Discovery activities including assumptions and dependencies and planning for Due Diligence completion
  • Understand and analyze current IT solutions and IT operations of customers
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop commercial model
  • Design IT operation fitting business and technology requirements based on ITIL and using Stefanini’s global capabilities

Pricing models responsibilities:

  • Provides accurate pricing models and provides input to pricing models built by other colleagues, by ensuring that the number of resources on a project balance the required workload with the need of ensuring price competitiveness
  • Initiates and leads projects for improving overall staff utilization, while ensuring the number of technicians used by various projects is optimized without jeopardizing the service levels; works with delivery managers in order to ensure that the agreed plans are executed successfully and within the agreed timeline
  • Participates in ad-hoc projects required by the need to optimize the people related or desk allocation related costs

Experience and skill set required:

  • Approxyears of experience in IT
  • Fluent communication in English, in written and oral form
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, integrating different mindsets into one team
  • Demonstrates a high level of productivity and quality. Multitasks effectively
  • Exercises leadership and understands and exhibits teaming abilities
