Job Description

Each one of us can contribute to a better future. You can do this on a daily basis on a Software Project Quality Engineer role in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

We are developing software for innovative products like Camera, Long Range Radar, Short Range Radar and other innovative systems.
With functions such as Lane Departure Warning (Camera), Adaptive Cruise Control (Long Range Radar), Blind Sport Detection (Short Range Radar), we contribute to an enhanced comfort and safety in the vehicle.
Furthermore, more and more functions are introduced in all our products taking advantage of fusion concepts developed.

The main responsibility for a Software Project Quality Engineer (SPQE) is active project software quality support.

He helps track and report quality status to project and line management and offer pragmatic suggestions for improvement. He also actively supports software project managers, software developers and testers in achieving their quality goals by providing tool, method, and process training as well as coaching.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor / report the quality status and quality measures to the project as well as to management, meeting the project deadlines;
  • First contact for software quality topics within the project;
  • Active coaching of team members on development methods and processes;
  • Preparation and support of quality audits and assessments and tracking of the findings;
  • Agreement with and reports of quality measures to the customer, project and management;
  • if the case, moderation of 5-Why (Why-Why) analysis;
  • Training of methods and tools.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science / Master of Science in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer science or related areas;
  • Knowledge of embedded software developer in automotive industry;
  • Knowledge of programming experience in C / C++ according to MISRA;
  • Solid background in software engineering methods according to V-Cycle (requirements, design, implementation, and testing);
  • Knowledge in quality assurance methods and capability models (ASPICE, CMMI) are an advantage;
  • Fluent English language skill.
