Senior Software Developer  

As Senior Software Developer .NET/C#, you are part of our R&D teams working on Océ PRISMAdirect, leading print workflow management product for government, corporate and commercial segments. PRISMAdirect is continuously evolving to fulfill both European and US markets and the full development cycle, from inception to release, and is done entirely in Timisoara R&D center.

The main technologies used from .NET Framework are: C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Interop. The source control is managed by Microsoft TFS. Other technologies used: JavaScript, JSON, HTML5, CSS3/LESS, DurandalJS.

Your role

  • Translate the product requirements into functional/technical specifications with the help of our system analyst
  • Participate in designing new functionalities in collaboration with colleagues from Timisoara and other Océ sites worldwide
  • Support Architect in drafting recommendations based on findings of Proof of Concept
  • Develop new components and ensure their quality by working closely with test & validation teams
  • Use the main technologies of .NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Interop)
  • Review code and technical specifications. Provide support for project estimations in terms of review and validation for projects of lower complexity based on analyzing business requirements (. component level estimation).
  • Re-factor and maintain existing legacy code (ASP.NET, C# and C++)
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems for the new functionalities to be delivered and for the legacy code

 Who are we looking for?

  • Masters’ or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering
  • At least 4 years’ experience in design and development of products using .NET Framework
  • Experience of using ASP.NET for developing web applications
  • Experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/LESS,
  • Experience in jQuery, JSON, Bootstrap, AngularJS/DurandalJS is a plus
  • Experience in Microservices is a plus
  • Good understanding of OOP principles
  • Experience in developing Windows applications is a plus
  • Experience and willingness towards working with legacy code
  • Experience with utilizing software development tools and best practices, . Visual Studios, Unit Testing, Code coverage, secure code analysis, Source Code management, etc.
  • A good understanding of logical and physical data modeling and relational database technologies, . SQL, stored procedures is a plus
  • Willing to follow and improve the existing working methods (code review, unit tests, etc.)
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Good communication skills, enabling successful interaction with team members
  • Attention to detail
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
