RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for defining the global EBU (Electronic Business Unit) procurement strategy and development of supply base to fill the supply base gaps
    •  
    • Align contracts and review exception requests in line with eBU procurement strategy
    •  
    • Manage Supply chain risks
    •  
    • Responsible to reach annual cost reduction (ECON) based on company`s target
    •  
    • Develop long-lasting and mutually-beneficial relationships with strategic suppliers and investigate risk sharing aspects
    •  
    • Drive Cost reduction activities to generate significate savings in the Business Unit
    •  
    • Manage and negotiate main commercial and contractual deals: New Business Bonus, YOY or LTAs, Payment term extensions, Execute VLS standard agreements, Execute VLS T&Cs Fixed cost reductions based on turnover increase
    •  
    • Support innovation with key suppliers and new technologies
    •  
    • Establish open cost models and TCO approach
    •  
    • Provide escalated support where required in plant and/or Business Unit
    •  
    • Manage high level escalations with supplier from eBU program buyers and eBU organization Support key VA/VE (DCRM) activities that brings significant commercial savings to company
    •  
    • Coordinate sharing of best supply-chain practices
    •  
    • Conduct annual Supplier performance review meetings or management review meetings with key suppliers in the Business Unit
    •  
    • Sourcing approval responsibility from program buyer
    •  
    • Support New Business Pursuit - direct and indirect cost calculations
    •  
    • Support Cost Calculation for eBU product development team
    •  
    • Perform periodical negotiations with eBU suppliersLead NDPC process for eBU

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Engineering or comparable education

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of 3 years of general business experience in automotive
    •  
    • Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience
    •  
    • Minimum one year of strategic purchasing experience
    •  
    • Minimum 1 year of working experience at automotive market OEM’s or Tier 1 suppliers
