Sr. R&D Engineer
The Synopsys Virtual Prototyping group is developing simulation models that replace traditional hardware boards in wide areas of the industry today. For future applications in the automotive development, like advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) or infotainment, we are looking to add a skilled person to work in our team in Cluj/Romania and to deliver on the next generation of virtual simulation and testing solutions. Required profile

Key Qualifications

• Experienced in micro-service architectures, client server-based applications
•  Knowledge in Angular and is a plus
•  Familiar with user interface design
•  Scripting languages (. Python, Shell)

• You will be part of a team working on our next generation web based, cloud enabled test solution
• Participate in the requirement specification process, driven by the interaction with the Application Engineering/consulting team
• Participate in the analysis and design phases
• Implement and test the required functionality according to the specification, as member of a development team
• Follow up with the consulting team to ensure that deliverables meet the expectations

• Favor thorough understanding over empirical approaches
• Driven by enthusiasm and work ethic rather than supervision
• Pay attention to details (and we mean it!)
• Strong desire to learn and explore new technologies
