Background

 

The Business Area security team is composed of security professionals supporting the business by setting the strategic direction for Security, Privacy and Business Continuity Management (BCM) within the Business Area. The team also manages a more operative distributed security organization in the delivery flows and the Service Delivery Units (SDU/Site).
The function also acts as the escalation point for any escalated operational security issues and/or presales security questions.
The Senior Privacy Advisor reports operationally directly to the GDPR Program Manager.

 

Purpose of Job Role

 

The purpose of the role is to secure that there is a strategy for the implementation of Privacy requirements and to ensure there are up to date processes and templates available for the execution of the Privacy Strategy.

The Senior Privacy Advisor reports operationally to the Head of the GDPR program and has the following responsibilities:


•Drive the implementation of the Privacy Policy.
•Provide specialist privacy knowledge and advice to the organization.
•Perform Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
•Follow up on findings when we run regular Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA).
•Perform Records of processing activities, as part of GDPR
•Conducting Contract due diligence from a privacy point of view.
•Formalizing customer privacy requirements.
•Analyze: Changes to the business environment, Corporate audit reports, Security assessments, Incidents, New threats and Vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for improvements
•In the event of failure in protection ensure that the failures are: Logged, appropriately managed and investigated in a fair and unbiased manner, and Improvements opportunities identified and implemented.
•Deliver specialist knowledge to support in setting targets and strategies, via training and instructions/guidelines

Qualifications and Experience

 

•Knowledge in Ericsson Security Policies, Directives and Instructions & knowledge of Ericsson´s business environment;
•Proven experience of Privacy related standards and regulations
•Knowledge about process development
•Certification by IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) such as CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/E or equivalent highly recommended
•Security and Risk Management training or equivalent experience
•Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
•Strong problem solving skills, results-oriented and a strong team player.
•Knowledge of internal and external product portfolio related to security
•Experience in project or program management
•Fluent in English (verbal and written)
