We are currently in search of an experienced Senior .NET Developer/ Technical Lead to create and maintain software, support and develop the software development team.

We are looking for creative engineering balanced with high quality and a customer focus. Must be able to work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop software solutions in accordance with defined objectives (quality, security, time schedule);
  • Assistance in drawing up and validating technical specifications;
  • Work with QA team to ensure delivery of a high quality product;
  • Implementing corrective actions;
  • Reporting on progress, issues and problems to the supervisor; providing lessons learned and giving suggestions to optimize the work processes;
  • Act as a mentor for the developers on the team;

Technical Requirements

  • Extensive Microsoft Windows application programming experience;
  • Good in-depth knowledge of Client/Server and Web architectures on Windows;
  • Broad experience of .NET (C#);
  • Broad experience of Visual Studio;
  • Broad experience of SQL Server;
  • Experience of nHibernate; experience with OData is a plus;
  • Must have strong design and diagnostic/debug skills and a methodical approach to problem solving;
  • Broad knowledge of source control and build processes;
  • Used to implementing and running Unit Test cases;

Education and experience

  • Holds a bachelor or university degree in computer science;
  • 10+ years’ experience in software development mainly in OOP and design;
  • 1-2 years’ experience in technical leading;
  • Must have commercial off-the-shelf software product development experience
  • Must have practical experience of working in a structured professional software development environment - preferably SCRUM
