Project Info

We are building a financial platform incorporating a new payment service alongside hosting established payment service providers. The project is developed for a large Fintech company in Germany, and the service will be connected to its API platform/marketplace, with the goal to make it its flagship platform.

Job Description

We are looking for 4 Java developers to join the top-notch team of architects, security engineers and developers building a revolutionary payment service for the banking industry. This includes anything between complex back-end services and client-end (desktop and mobile) counterparts. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these features, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

Responsibilities  

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional software
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Requirements

• Proficient with Java Enterprise (latest version), with a good knowledge of its ecosystems (3+ years’ experience)
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices (experience with GitLab, Prometeus/Grafana)
• Knowledge in building high performance/high privacy data systems (ELK stack, Kafka, Instana, Vault by Hashicorp are some of the platforms you’ll be using)
• Experience with container deployment (you will be using Kubernetes / Docker, Helm)
• Experience with common open-source Java framework technologies (Swagger, SpringBoot)
• SonarQube for clean, quality, and secure code
