Job Overview

Java Developer to work with the current team based in Besancon , France on the current Archipel ecosystem. This consists of a in-house built payment processing and routing solution used for transport/parking related payments . The system is in use in North America, Europe and Asia  and expanding constantly to new countries/regions.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, develop , implement and maintain java application phases ,code and software
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, as well as recommending changes to improve the established processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Patience and perseverance to overcome challenges, solve problems, and learn new computer languages and techniques.
• Ability to work in a TDD mindset
• Ability to travel

Qualifications

• Education level : Bachelor degree in computer science or related .
• Experience : experience in Java with an emphasis on the following :
  • JAVA EE
  • Maven
  • Oracle or any RDMS
  • Linux operating systems (Ubuntu or Redhat)
  • Virtualization : LXC , Docker
  • SCRUM Based projects
  • JUnit

• Bonus skills :
  • Continuous Integration (Jenkins)
  • BASH
  • Jira/Confluence
  • Past experienced with payment solutions and/or secure transactions

• Personal characteristics :
  • Open-minded and enthusiastic
  • Communicative

• Languages :
  • English
  • French is a big plus
