Sales and Business Development manager - Sibiu location
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position is newly established for the start-up project and the Sales Manager's work will be highly responsible. Industry branch knowledge and contacts in Romania are preferred. She/he will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, establishing sales channels, achieving the sales target, growing the market and customer base
Strategic development of all commercial business activities in Romania
Create sales opportunities by developing, managing and driving sales results. Being able to do cold acquisition and develop new accounts incl telesales
Manage and implement the sales forecasting and planning processes, establishing high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency for the organization
Maintain sales volume and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
Develop, monitor and report sales metrics and performance indicators to maximize all elements of the selling processes
Bid preparation - formulate, prepare and present proposals for new bids including strategic, business and deal structuring aspects and collaborate with the professional services teams to develop winning bids for targeted accounts.
Create sales opportunities by developing, managing and driving sales results at special events and develop local selling and promotional opportunities.
She/he should possess an advanced degree or equivalent business experience with preferably 4-5 years of experience in selling technical, engineering or automotive products in the manufacturing company
Entrepreneurial spirit and mindset. Being able to develop new business, self-starter
English language at an advanced level for professional communication with company management and partners
The German language is an advantage
Knowledge or experience in the field of Engineering – knowledge of technical drawings, technological procedures
Knowledge of economics and financial management in the production company
Advanced user knowledge of MS Office (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience to work with an ERP system (SAP etc.)
She/he should be a self-starter with high energy level with the ability to initiate and drive sales opportunities independently and reliably.
