Brief description of the job:

As a Workplace Receptionist you should be enthusiastic about hospitality, as you will be the first point of contact for the company. You will provide administrative support across the organization. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

What You’ll Work On:

  • You will be the first impression of Fitbit for our clients, partners and potential employees, so greeting and directing multiple visitors and guests in an appropriate and professional manner, while getting them checked into our visitor registration system, is the priority.
  • Providing general administrative support to the workplace coordinator and the growing team to ensure the smooth running of the office.
  • Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
  • Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/invoices
  • Keeps in touch with the customs for incoming international packages
  • Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (issuing new hire access badges, and visitors day badges)
  • Welcome candidates on site for interviews
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating.
  • Support company events and weekly catering program
  • Update stationery supplies for the office

Required Skills:

  • Experienced in working in a dynamic reception / office. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and Google docs.
  • Fluent in English
  • Solid communication skills both written and verbal
  • Positive attitude
  • Able to work on own initiative and be able to solve problems quickly and effectively 
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
  • High school degree minimum.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • College degree is preferred, as advancement opportunities are likely as we grow!
