We are looking for a talented QA Engineer to join our passionate team that includes a wide range of developers and testers, from junior to senior, all eager to lend a helping hand if needed.
Payments team implements the latest changes in the financial sector of the European Union. Our current projects include a banking environment, a payment processor for the biggest companies in Belgium and an application that communicates closely with banks to retrieve account information and to initiate new SEPA payments.
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible to:
Create test cases and organize them into test plans;
Prioritize and execute manual testing;
Open bugs with all the steps to reproduce;
Identify and prioritize tests which are suitable for automation
Create and execute automated tests in the CI pipeline;
Schedule deployments of released versions on different environments;
Report test results;
Prepare demo sessions for stakeholders;
Work closely with other QA's, Product Owners, Developers and Devops to build and deploy qualitative web applications.
What you bring:
Relevant work experience in Software Testing;
Ability to work with bug tracking and test case management tools;
Experience with: Java;
Experience with a test framework like TestNG/JUnit;
API testing experience: REST;
Knowledge of API testing using API testing tools Postman/swagger/fiddler;
Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, Positive/ Negative Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing;
Knowledge on Build integration tools - Jenkins, Docker will be an advantage;
UI testing experience using Selenium.
We would be happy to see experience with:
Performance testing using Jmeter;
Databases: SQL, NoSQL flavors;
Selenium Grid, Browserstack or SauceLabs;
