Project Manager (Software Development)

INNOBYTE is looking for a Project Manager for our Bucharest office. The goal of this position is to manage the development team in order to deliver the project scope within the agreed schedule and budget. 

Your Responsibilities:

• Offer consulting services in order to help customers define the project scope;
• Manage the project planning phase in order to establish the project schedule and budget;
• Book the required project resources;
• Establish and adapt project methodology based on each project;
• Perform monitoring and controlling related activities during the project execution in order to ensure the project plan is followed by all team members, and take corrective actions when deviations occur;
• Handle customer communication and act as a Single Point of Contact between the development team and the client;
• Define and manage development tickets and specifications based on the agreed project scope;
• Ensures the project is delivered within the agreed scope, budget and schedule;
• Protects the project scope and manages change requests by documenting them and assessing the budget and schedule impact;
• Facilitates development by ensuring work packages are properly documented, the load is evenly distributed and the team is provided with the required tools and resources;
• Manage the project closing phase and obtain customer acceptance;

Must have requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as part of a team;
• Basic project management knowledge;
• Basic eCommerce knowledge;
• Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle;
• Excellent communication skills;

Nice to have:

• 3 years or more experience as a project manager in software development projects;
• PMP certification in good standing;
• Experience with both waterfall and agile methodologies;
• Scrum Master certifications;
• Performance testing knowledge;
• Advanced eCommerce knowledge and experience;
