TT Electronics a deschis prima unitate de productie in Timisoara, in anul 2012 si produce o gama variata de componente electronice pentru industria automotive: pedale de acceleratie, senzori folositi in controlul anumitor parametrii din functionarea autoturismelor, module cu tehnologie LED pentru iluminat si dispozitive electronice de monitorizare a cutiilor de viteza si ambreiaj.

Responsibilities

- Representation of Purchasing in internal meetings;

- Conclude commercial negotiations with suppliers;

- Timely and accurate maintenance of Purchasing system SAP;

- Resolution of Purchasing-related problems with other functions within the company, thorough purchasing processes and procedures; 

- Performs other Purchasing tasks as required;

- Tracking and reporting of each assigned part’s cost history until and after SOP;

- Negotiate, present and implement engineering changes ECRs for piece price;

- Timely and Accurate issuance of Purchasing contracts, amendments, and kickoffs;     

- Reporting of parts status during all milestones of the development process; 

- Regular interfacing with project teams in other TT Electronics Transportation Sensing and Control sites;

- Proactive identification and resolution of problems related to assigned parts / suppliers; 

- Evaluation, preparation and presentation of various business case scenarios; 

- Agreement, communication, and tracking of deliverables from internal customers.

Requirements

- 3 – 5 years of experience in automotive industry or related field;    

- Experience with manufacturing processes, tools and technologies;     

- Experience analyzing cost breakdowns, cost drivers, supplier offers;     

- Demonstrated negotiating experience: piece price, tooling and timing with external suppliers for assigned packages;    

- Ability to work independently without direct supervision;     

- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Outlook, Excel and SAP;   

- Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a high-pressure environment;     

- Effective communication with internal customers and with outside vendors/suppliers;    

- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills;  

- Strong verbal and written communication in English language, German language is a plus;

- Manages more complex work packages and workload;    

- Assists in the training of new employees.
