Elaboration of RFQ documentations to collect direct material offers and to evaluate and benchmark these for making a sourcing decision that correspond to the sourcing strategy (local for local, cost competitiveness, quality).
Market research to built up a supplier base in Eastern Europe for direct material in strong cooperation with lead buyers, SDE, and quality,as well keeping the supplier base up-to-date
Purchase project management by keeping close communication to suppliers, monitoring requirement fulfillment, progress and capacity on the base of standard purchase contracts, and to control cost strictly.
Carrying out supplier evaluations in the project phase to concentrate on the best suppliers and improve the current supplier base
Continous improvment of purchase cost with help of annual price discussions, workshops, technical changes, economies of scale and any other common instruments
Responsible for REACH, RoHs, and conflict materials ensuring the legal requirements.
Support quality department for purchasing topics during internal and external audits.
Local SAP Key User for MM Module
Preparation of customs declarations and other documents necessary for import and export operations and keeping contact to customs authorities.
Support of project manager in the daily business ensuring customer specific requirements to be considered in the supplier management, too.
Involvement in design phase to consider cost aspects and cost reduction potentials in an early stage of development by fulfilling the required functions.
Support quality department related to purchasing topics during internal and external audits.
SAP experience with purchasing and material support functions
Minimum 2 years direct Purchasing experience
University degree in economics or a similar education
PC operating skills – MS Office, MS Project is a plus;
Fluent in English, German language is a plus but not mandatory;
Outstanding communication skills, results and customer oriented;
