Primary Responsibilities

  1. Manage the category spend volume and perform spend analysis to identify savings opportunities
  2. Monitor the market situation and offers support for market and supplier reports
  3. Collaborate with Commercial and other departments to identify customer’s and driver’s requirements to continuously increase quality and service level
  4. Facilitates collaboration with the cross functional category team
  5. Define category initiatives, establish priorities based on the benefit opportunities and monitor implementation of local and global activities to deliver maximal Procurement benefits
  6. Conceptualise Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for assigned category and apply it systematically in sourcing decision processes
  7. Lead tender processes, develops negotiation plans and drive supplier negations
  8. Establish partnership with selected suppliers, measure supplier performance of the category and create supplier development programs
  9. Responsible for benefits management, creating forecasts and alignment with annual plans

Qualifications and requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management
  • Good strategic thinking, project management and planning skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • High level of integrity and adopt a professional approach in all supplier interactions to meet highest ethical standards
  • Advanced user of MS Excel, database knowledge is an advantage
  • Supplier Relationship Systems knowledge is an advantage
